GMS Mining & Infrastructure

GMS funds special scholarship at the University of Western Australia in order to assist and encourage students who have demonstrated both academic achievement and sporting excellence in rugby to support them to further their academic and sporting careers at the UWA Rugby Club.

Two scholarships will be offered in 2011 and will each be available for four years.  The value of each scholarship is $2,500 per year. 

In the case that a new scholarship is made available for 2012, a new link will be created by the university for online applications and the link will be shown here.

As GMS supports the growth and development of the great game of rugby in Western Australia and as a proud sponsor of the UWA Rugby Club, the two scholarships are only awarded to playing members of the UWA Rugby Club, who at the same time are enrolled or eligible to enrol as a full-time student in a Bachelor of Engineering degree course at UWA.
