GMS Sponsorship of the UWA Rugby Club

GMS has been a proud sponsor of the University of Western Australia Rugby Football Club (UWA Rugby Club) since 2010 and has committed to sponsoring the club for the next three years. . The club was established in 1929 and is one of the leading rugby clubs in Western Australia in terms of team and club premiership victories. . Peter Naudé, the Managing Director of GMS, has had a long association with both the university and the rugby club. As well as that, as an engineering service provider to predominantly the Western Australian mining and infrastructure industry, GMS has nurtured a close relationship with the University of Western Australia.

GMS was also the primary sponsor of the UWA rugby team at the 2010 Australian University Games Rugby Sevens, which were held in Perth, where UWA were runners up in Division 1.
